PM Shehbaz says Imran’s anti-Zardari’s remarks as conspiracy to spread venom against opponents

ISLAMABAD, Jan 28 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif says Imran Niazi’s baseless and dangerous allegations against former President Asif Ali Zardari are not only irresponsible but also conform to a pattern of conspiracy theories meant to spread venom against his political opponents.

In a tweet on Saturday, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said such nonsensical rhetoric is an attempt to remain politically relevant.

He said the whole nation knows how he has used politics of hatred to divide the society for the sake of power.

Former prime minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Friday last said that a conspiracy to assassinate him was hatched behind the closed doors by four persons.

Khan said the powerful people conspired to assassinate him, adding that he had told in address to the rally a couple of weeks ago that, “I have made a video in which the names of the conspirators have been revealed and if anything happens to him, the video will be released.”

The ex-PM also accused Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari of making a Plan-C to assassinate him after failure to execute Plans A and B. He also alleged that the former president had given money to a terrorist outfit.
