PM Shehbaz leaves to attend Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral, 77th United Nations General Assembly session

ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has left for the United States of America via London to participate in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly beginning from the 20th of this month.

At the invitation of the British government, the Prime Minister will also represent Pakistan at the State Funeral of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in London on Monday.

According to a statement issued by PM Office, at the invitation of the British government, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will represent Pakistan at the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in London on 19 September 2022.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will participate in the High-Level Debate of the 77th Session of UN General Assembly being held from 20-26 September 2022.

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, Advisor to the PM on Establishment Ahad Khan Cheema, SAPM Syed Tariq Fatemi and other officials are also accompanying the prime minister during his London and New York visits.
