PM Shehbaz has taken drastic steps to put country back on the path of development: Attaullah Tarar

LAHORE, June 03 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar Advocate says economic indicators are showing growth and foreign investment has increased significantly as a result of prudent policies of the government.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Monday, Attaullah Tarar said a delegation comprising of 100 Pakistani businessmen will accompany the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit to China.

The Information Minister said the Prime Minister has taken drastic steps to put country back on the path of development. He said inflation rate is now at its lowest level in 29 months as it has decreased by 11 percent.

Attaullah Tarar said that the stock exchange has reached an all-time high and the government successfully secured a deal with the IMF in a short period.

He said during the last month, the government collected 15 billion rupees more than the target in taxes and reforms in the FBR have started yielding results.
