PM Shehbaz expresses sympathies & condolences to President Violapamherd & people of Switzerland on devastating floods

ISLAMABAD, July 1 (SABAH): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed heartfelt sympathies and condolences to President Violapamherd and the people of Switzerland on the devastating floods in the cantons of Valais and Ticino. 

In a statement he issued on X, he said that Pakistan stands with our Swiss friends at this difficult time. He said, “We recall with gratitude that Switzerland was among the first countries to dispatch rescue teams during the calamitous 2022 floods in Pakistan.”
