PM Shehbaz expresses gratitude to PPP for supporting the govt in every decision
ISLAMABAD, August 07 (SABAH): Former prime minister and Senator Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and MNA Ali Musa Gilani called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday.
Prevailing political situation of the country came under discussion in detail during the meeting.
Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani paid rich tribute to the Prime Minister for providing excellent leadership in the difficult times and improving the economic situation of the country.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Pakistan People’s Party for supporting the government in every decision.
He said without the support of the coalition partners, the government could never have done alone the difficult task of restoring the country’s economy.
Meanwhile a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement led by its Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday.
The delegation included Minister for Information Technology Syed Amin Ul Haq, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and Dr Farooq Sattar.
They thanked the Prime Minister for resolving MQM’s grievances on the 7th Digital Census.
The Prime Minister said 7th Digital Census has been successfully completed and approved with the consultation of all political parties.
During the meeting, they also discussed the prevailing political situation of the country and ongoing development projects in Sindh province especially Karachi.
Meanwhile the topper of Matriculation Examination 2023, Gujranwala Board, Jamshed Ali called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday.
Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Rana Tanvir Hussain, Mother of Jamshed Ali, his teacher and Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala were also present in the meeting.
The Prime Minister appreciated Jamshed Ali for his outstanding performance in the Matric Examination and also awarded one million rupees cash prize to him. He said the government will bear all the expenditures incur his education till Masters-level. The Prime Minister announced 30,000 rupees per month stipend for Jamshed Ali as well.
