PM Shehbaz exchanges Eid greetings with President Zardari, leaders of political parties, AJK President & PM, governors, CMs of Punjab, Sindh & GB
ISLAMABAD, June 19 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari exchanged Eid greetings over telephone.
They also discussed overall and political situation of the country. They expressed determination to work in coordination for country’s betterment.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif telephoned the Governors of all four provinces to congratulate them on Eid ul Azha.
He also spoke to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Gulber Khan to convey Eid greetings.
The Prime Minister telephoned President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and Prime Minister of AJK Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq to wish them Eid ul Azha.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed best wishes on Eid ul Azha to political leaders including Ameer Jamaat e Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, President National Party Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and Central President of Awami National Party Aimal Wali Khan over telephone. These leaders also reciprocated the Eid wishes.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has urged political leaders to collectively work for country’s prosperity.
In his telephonic conversation, he felicitated heads of coalition parties including PPP, JUI-F, PML-Q, and MQM-Pakistan on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
The Prime Minister also talked to Abdul Aleem Khan, Sardar Khalid Magsi, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and Professor Sajid Mir and exchanged Eid greetings with them.
The Prime Minister hoped that the allied parties would continue their role for the economic stability of Pakistan.
He expressed hope that they would work day and night to help regain Pakistan’s lost place among the comity of nations.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said all steps are being taken to provide maximum relief to the people in the budget.
The political leaders expressed the resolve to continue their cooperation with the coalition government.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says the progress and development of Gilgit-Baltistan and the welfare of its people are among top priorities of the government.
He was talking to the Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah over telephone. The Prime Minister also conveyed Eid greetings to the governor.
