PM Shehbaz directs concerned authorities to attend women, elderly & disabled people on priority basis while distributing free of cost flour


BAHAWALPUR, Mar 26 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Abbasia High School and Drung Stadium free flour distribution centers in Bahawalpur on Sunday and reviewed the arrangements made for the distribution of free of cost flour. PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over the process of distribution.

Commissioner Bahawalpur briefed the prime minister about the arrangements being made for the distribution of free of cost flour to the deserving people. It was informed to the prime minister that total 26 centers for distribution of free of cost flour have been established in the whole district. Total eligible people in the whole district are 721,000. In six sub-districts of Bahwalpur, 19 points for distribution of the free of cost flour have been established.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction on the process of distribution. He also directed to provide two bags of flour to the deserving people to save them from repeated visits to the distribution centers. Prime minister met the people and heard the complaints of the people.

PM Shehbaz Sharif directed the concerned authorities to attend women, elderly and disabled people on priority basis while distributing the free of cost flour. PM Shehbaz Sharif said that the women and elderly people should be respected, adding that the women and elderly people should be saved from standing in queues. Prime minister said that every deserving person who is visiting the distribution point should be given sack of flour.

PM Shehbaz Sharif also visited the makeshift dispensary established along with the free flour distribution point. PM Shehbaz Sharif also inquired about the facilities being provided to the patients at the makeshift dispensary.

Advisor to PM on Establishment Ahad Khan Cheema, SAPM on Industries and Production Sardar Saleem Haider Khan and other officials were also accompanying the prime minister on the occasion.
