PM Shehbaz commends FO team led by Bilawal & other organizations for successfully & safely evacuating over 1000 Pakistanis stranded in Sudan

ISLAMABAD, May 02 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has commended the Foreign Office team led by

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other organizations for successfully and safely evacuating over 1000 Pakistanis stranded in Sudan.

In a statement issued on twitter on Tuesday, given the prevailing conditions there, it was certainly a Herculean task which was made possible due to timely & coordinated response. Grateful to Saudi Arabia and China for their crucial help in the accomplishment of the repatriation mission, he said.

Given the prevailing conditions there, it was certainly a herculean task which was made possible due to timely & coordinated response. Grateful to Saudi Arabia & China for their crucial help in the accomplishment of the repatriation mission” Shehbaz Sharif tweeted.

Meanwhile over 1,000 Pakistanis have been evacuated from Sudan. In a statement on Tuesday, the Spokesperson of Foreign Office Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said our evacuation operations have ended in Sudan.

The statement further said the evacuations through Jeddah will continue until last Pakistani returns safely. It said evacuation was carried out with the help of Saudi Arabia and China.
