PM Shehbaz, Chinese PM Li Keqiang agree to early completion of CPEC related projects


BEIJING, Nov 02, (SABAH): Pakistan and China have agreed to expand China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

The understanding came at a meeting between Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing on Wednesday. They also agreed to early completion of CPEC related projects. The two leaders held discussion on promoting bilateral cooperation.

Following the meeting, both the sides also signed agreements for cooperation in diverse fields. On arrival at Great Hall of People, the Prime Minister was given a guard of honor.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with Chairman Standing Committee of National People’s Congress Li Zhanshu at Great Hall of People in Beijing on Wednesday. During the meeting, views were exchanged on matters of mutual interest.
