PM Shehbaz along with Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani visit the Manzar Art Gallery at the Qatar Museum in Doha
DOHA, Oct 31 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, along with Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, visited the Manzar Art Gallery at the Qatar Museum in Doha on Thursday.
After high-level delegation and bilateral meetings, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Amir of Qatar traveled together in the same vehicle from Diwan Amiri to the Qatar Museum.
The Amir of Qatar personally guided Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif through the ‘Manzar’ exhibition of Pakistani artworks.
A warm and cordial atmosphere was observed between the leaders of both countries.
The Amir of Qatar and his sister, Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, who is the Chairperson of the Qatar Museum, showed the Prime Minister the artworks on display and introduced him to the organizers and Pakistani artists.
The Prime Minister thanked the Amir of Qatar and his sister for organizing the Manzar Art Gallery and appreciating Pakistani artists. He said the exhibition is a source of pride for the entire Pakistani nation.
The Manzar Art Gallery at the Qatar Museum, featuring Pakistani artworks, reflects the strong social and fraternal ties between Qatar and Pakistan.
During the visit, the Prime Minister met renowned Pakistani architect Nayyar Ali Dada, Pakistani painters, photographers, calligraphers, and other artists.
The exhibition includes Pakistani paintings, photography, sculptures, and other artworks from 1940 to date.
The works of artists such as Shakir Ali, Sadequain, Gulgee, Zubeida Agha, Kamil Khan Mumtaz, Nayyar Ali Dada, and many other Pakistani artists are on display.
