PM Imran Khan was the instigator of no-confidence motion against him: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, Mar 09 (SABAH): Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and former parliamentary leader Liaqat Baloch has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was the instigator of the no-confidence motion against him. The nation and the establishment had high expectations to get rid of the failed rulers of the past and outdated political system but Imran Khan at the same time disappointed his supporters throughout the country, party members, government allies, patron establishment, opposition and friendly countries. He made America and Europe harmful to Pakistan with his wrong strategy and language. This style of governing does not suit the country like Pakistan which is mired in innumerable problems. Obviously, the success or failure of the no-confidence motion will result in new general elections.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Liaqat Baloch said that the failure of Imran Khan government, major crimes of incompetence are that instead of establishing the system of the State of Madinah, secularism, obscenity, vulgarity were spread and legislation contrary to Qur’an and Sunnah carried on. The national demand for “accountability of all” has been curtailed, the corrupt mafia has been strengthened by patronizing it, and corruption and bribery have accelerated in the country. The government has proved that it is a bunch of playful, rude and irresponsible people.

Liaqat Baloch said that the whole team is responsible for the failure and destruction in the country. Economic catastrophe has become a threat to national security. For the common man, inflation, unemployment, price hike, raise in electricity, oil, gas prices and exorbitant taxes, the sharp rise in prices of medicines and agricultural inputs have become unbearable. Loneliness, irrationality and non-diplomatic rhetoric on the foreign front are the cause of failure.

Liaqat Baloch said that the policy of debts and cowardice has tarnished the image of the country and left the friends in anger favoring every oppressive country, cowardice and sidelining on the fronts of Kashmir and Afghanistan have become unforgivable crimes of the PTI government. Imran Khan wasted 1350 days of country and nation. Reforming the country for the rest of its tenure is no longer the job of this incompetent corrupt gang.
