People of Occupied Kashmir facing Karbala like scenes since 1947: Syed Salahuddin

MUZAFFARABAD, July 28 (SABAH): Hizbul Mujahideen Chief and United Jihad Council (UJC) Chairman Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his family while sacrificing their lives for the sublimity of Islam conveyed to the barbaric and oppressive forces that men of Allah (SWT) only belong to Him as such people present their lives for sacrifice but never bow down before forces of evil.

Syed Salahuddin Ahmed in a statement issued here on Friday said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) along with his sons, kith and kin and devotees embraced higher status of martyrdom on 10th of Muharram, 61 AH on Friday while fighting audaciously in Karbala, on the brink of Euphrates River (Firat).

He further said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) proved to be an iron wall against the Yazid’s acts based on falsehood and continued instead of choosing the routine of retreat he accepted this challenge.

Hizbul Mujahideen chief while paying homage to the martyrs of Karbala said that incident of Karbala proved that Truth conquers all things and surely falsehood is ever bound to vanish. He added when cruel forces exceed their limits they are ever bound to vanish.

Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that people of Occupied Kashmir have been facing Karbala like scenes since 1947, particularly after 1990 and remarked every morning and every evening is tantamount to Karbala. He deplored that in occupied valley, innocent children were being killed and that violations of the sanctity of people’s private lives were rampant.

He noted that Kashmiris were thrown in jails and torture cells without any discrimination and forces of evil have been attacking Muslim from every side but it is also a fact that Kashmiris have accepted that they have to prefer martyrdom to slavery as it is really Hussaniat. “While following this rule, they would ultimately obtain their goal,” he added.
