People of Jamaat-e-Islami & Gwadar Balochistan want a solution to their problems: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, Dec 06 (SABAH): Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Secretary General Milli Yakjehti Council Liaqat Baloch while participating in the wedding ceremony of the daughter of a political leader in Sahiwal, addressing the participants of the Central Consultative Meeting at Mansoora, said that Pakistan is a great blessing and reward of Allah. Pakistan is the best country with its own resources. Due to the inattention of national leadership, religious leadership and state institutions, Pakistan has become an arena of hatred, bigotry, extremism and intolerance.
Liaqat Baloch said that the Sialkot tragedy has caused great loss to Pakistan. No individual, group, party or state has the right to take any action beyond the Constitution, law and judiciary, to prevent any action against the law, against the Shariah. When the national leadership, even in times of crisis, is at loggerheads with each other, raining down verbal bombardment and hatred on each other, it is only natural for the general public to be agitated and horrified. The savage inhumane perpetrators of the Sialkot tragedy should be made a symbol and the religious leadership, national political leadership, media intellectuals and state institutions should unite and save the country and the nation from falling into the blind well. Religious, national, human responsibility is on the shoulders of the leadership.
After being contacted by Chairman Senate Mir Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, the Chief Secretary Balochistan also contacted Liaqat Baloch regarding the situation of the ongoing sit-in in Gwadar led by Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman and indicated that the government wants to meet the demands of the sit-in protesters and solve the problems.
Liaqat Baloch informed Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq, Ameer of Balochistan Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi and Gwadar sit-in leader Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman. The people of Jamaat-e-Islami and Gwadar Balochistan want a solution to their problems. State institutions, governments and administrations are showing indifference to solving people’s problems. The people of Gwadar are not alone, the whole country is with the oppressed people of Gwadar. Women, men, laborers, fishermen and youth made history by raising their voices in a peaceful and organized manner for the solution of public problems with patriotism and devotion to Islam.
Liaqat Baloch said that the CPEC is a national project, every Pakistani is its protector. The abolition of employment for the ancient inhabitants of Gwadar and the fishermen is by no means acceptable. The government should show seriousness and take practical steps instead of mere announcement of solutions to public problems.
