People are no longer willing to tolerate dynastic politics of PPP & PML-N: Sirajul Haq

HYDERABAD, Jan 26 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq has said the people are no longer willing to tolerate the dynastic politics of the PPP and the PML-N.

The polling day on February 8, Sirajul Haq said while addressing an election rally in Hyderabad, would bury the politics of tested parties permanently.

He arrived Karachi on Thursday night to lead the election campaign. He would address rallies in different cities of interior Sindh and Karachi in next two days. A large number of people including women participated in the Hyderabad event. He later addressed the gathering in Tando Adam, the tehsil headquarters of Sanghar.

The JI leader said the PPP destroyed the province in its 15 years long rule over Sindh. Now, he said, the chairman of the former ruling party was again seeking power. The PPP chairman, he added, should have told the public in what good they brought for public in the past.

The PPP and the PML-N, he said, had nothing to showcase their past government performances. The masses, he said, must reject them in this election and vote for the JI. He vowed that the JI would bring about real change after coming into power.

He said the MQM is a thing of the past now and stood exposed. The party, he said, was equally responsible for the plight of the public along with the PPP and the PML-N. They, he added, all the sides of the same coin. He said the leaders of the former ruling parties opted silence over the genocide of Palestinian Muslims. They, he said, would never speak for Kashmir and Palestine, fearing the US resentment. They rule the country due to the “blessings” of Washington, he asserted.

Sirajul Haq said the former PPP government had deprived the people of Sindh of basic facilities. The former ruling party, he said, was a club of feudal lords and waderas. He appealed to the people to break free from the shackles of corrupt system, saying the election provided them best opportunity to change their future.
