MUZAFFARABAD, June 9 (SABAH): The tragic accident of a passenger jeep at the coldest tourist area of ​​Upper Neelam occurred wherein 15 out of 15 people were swept away in the river, 4 were rescued, 6 bodies including a woman were rescued from the river, the tourists belonged to Multan.

According to the ongoing search details, a passenger jeep was involved in an accident near the upper area of ​​Neelum Valley near Tau Butt.

In addition to the driver, about 15 people were riding in the jeep, including 7 tourists and about 7 Bakrwal and local people, out of which 4 passengers were rescued in an injured state. According to the report, the wall on the river side of the road slid due to poor condition due to which the moving vehicle could not maintain balance and the accident occurred. The driver and three passengers were rescued and shifted to the hospital for medical assistance. More the search for the passengers is ongoing.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in the accident in Neelum Valley.

Mohsin Naqvi conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, saying, “I share their grief and sorrow in this difficult time.” He added, “The tragic incident has left me deeply saddened, and I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured persons.”
