Parties which don’t have democracy in themselves don’t want democratic stability in the country: Sirajul Haq
LOWER DIR, Jan 8 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that the parties which don’t have democracy in themselves, those parties don’t want democratic stability in the country.
Sirajul Haq expressed these views on the occasion of inauguration of electoral office in his own constituency NA-6 in Samar Bagh, Lower Dir. Jamaat-e-Islami other candidates including Azazul Mulk Afkari and Saeed Gull were also present on the occasion.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq further said that some political parties are in favour of postponement of elections in the country and added as per routine they are waiting for National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO). He said for the sake of development of the country all political parties should develop consensus on long term plan.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami wanted reforms in all fields and added after coming into power they would lessen non-development expenditures and spend money on education and employment. He said no nation can develop without education, adding provision of employment is responsibility of state. “I as a former minister for finance KPK made the province free of loans,” he added.
Sirajul Haq said due to follies of the rulers the national resources are wasted and added the nation should express its confidence in favour of “scale”. He said after coming into power they would introduce the rule of people and supremacy of Quran and Sunnah.
He strongly condemned the incident of terror attack on police van in Bajaur and prayed for the martyrs. He also condoled with the heirs of the martyrs. He stressed upon the need of ending political tensions for combating with terrorism. He stressed upon putting in place a strong government for battling with anarchy in the country.
Sirajul Haq said after coming into power they would restore peace and prosperity in the country and would end interest system. He said they would introduce zakat and usher system in the country instead of obsolete system of taxes. He urges the courts to establish supremacy of Constitution and law for making their image better.
