Parliament to resume joint sitting tomorrow


ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (SABAH): Joint sitting of the Parliament will be resumed tomorrow (Monday) at the Parliament House in Islamabad at 4:00 PM. The parliament will resume the joint sitting after the interval of four days.

The agenda of the joint session of parliament has also been issued. The issues of law and order and terrorism, economic policy, Jammu and Kashmir dispute, respect of the national institutions, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), population, effects of the climate change and foreign policy are included in the agenda.

Joint session of the parliament will be held under the chairmanship of Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. The government resolution for holding debate on the above mentioned 8 matters is included in the agenda of the joint session. This will be the 13th joint session of the parliament during the tenure of the current National Assembly. The members of Senate and National Assembly will attend the joint session.
