Pakistan’s relations with China have further strengthened: Qureshi
ISLAMABAD, Feb 03 (SABAH): Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said several Chinese companies are desirous of making investments in Pakistan.
In a statement on Thursday, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan during his visit to Beijing is expected to meet the heads of these companies.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the visit of Prime Minister Imran will promote high-level exchanges between Pakistan and China and help further expand their relations. He said Pakistan’s relations with China have further strengthened.
Meanwhile Shah Mahmood Qureshi has stressed for effective steps to cope with water related challenges keeping in view the regional, geographical, political, economic and environmental factors.
He was chairing the maiden meeting Experts’ Working Group regarding water diplomacy in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Foreign Minister said Pakistan is ranked amongst the countries which are faced with severe water shortage. Being an agrarian country, he said, the availability of water resources is of immense important for our agriculture economy.
