Pakistani mountain climber Asad Ali Memon will be brought home on the first available flight from Nepal: Mumtaz Zahra Baloch  


ISLAMABAD, May 24 (SABAH): Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch says Pakistani mountain climber Asad Ali Memon, stranded at Mount Everest in Nepal, has been evacuated and provided medical care.

In response to media queries regarding evacuation of the Asad Ali Memon, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said he is physically safe and is currently at a hotel in Lukla, a town near foots of Everest.

The FO Spokesperson said the Pakistani mountain climber will be brought home on the first available flight. She said Pakistan’s Embassy in Nepal is in contact with Asad Ali Memon and his handling agency.
