Pakistani masses are standing with Kashmiri brethren & will not leave them alone at any point: Shabbir Ahmed Usmani

ISLAMABAD, July 02 (SABAH): A delegation of APHC AJK leaders, led by convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi called on Shabbir Ahmed Usmani, adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Kashmir, in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The delegation included Mahmood Ahmad Saghar, Advocate Parvez Ahmed, Syed Ejaz Rahmani, Raja Khadim Hussain, Javed Iqbal Butt, Manzoor Ahmed Dar, Zahid Ashraf and Imtiaz Wani.

During the meeting, the Hurriyat leaders briefed Usmani on the latest situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the severe human rights violations and atrocities committed by Indian forces. Usmani emphasized the need to expose India’s true face by highlighting these crimes and assured the delegation that Pakistan would continue to provide political, diplomatic, and moral support to the Kashmiri people in their struggle for self-determination. Shabbir Ahmed Usmani said that Pakistani masses are standing with Kashmiri brethren and will not leave them alone at any point.

Shabbir Ahmed Usmani condemned India’s attempts to change the demographic composition of occupied Jammu and Kashmir by issuing domicile certificates to non-Kashmiris and selling Kashmiri land to outsiders. He also drew attention to the genocide of Muslims in the territory and the lack of implementation of UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir.

The Hurriyat leaders and Usmani urged the international community to take action against Indian atrocities and support the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.
