Pakistan will not leave alone the Kashmiris at any juncture of their struggle: Dr. Yusuf Junaid
ANKARA, August 02 (SABAH): A delegation of Kashmiri leaders led by Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Latif Akbar and senior parliamentary leaders visited the Pakistan Embassy on the invitation of the Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkiye, Dr. Yusuf Junaid.
Briefing about the ongoing activities, Dr. Yusuf Junaid said that the entire nation is deeply committed to the cause of Pakistan and Kashmir, and the support of the Muslims of the subcontinent in the movement of freedom is imprinted on the hearts of every citizen of Turkey. He said that Pakistan will not leave alone the Kashmiris at any juncture of their struggle. In particular, President Erdoğan has been expressing the Kashmir cause in all forums. Dr. Yusuf Junaid said that the visit of the delegation comprising all parties of Azad Kashmir to Turkiye is expression of national unity.
The delegation drew the attention of the Ambassador of Pakistan regarding the problems faced by Kashmiri and Pakistani students and made suggestions for creating an effective strategy on the diplomatic front to expose the sinister intentions of the Modi government, especially Modi’s Hindutva in the media and academia to policies The Ambassador of Pakistan welcomed the visit of the delegation, assured that it would ensure the implementation of the proposals, and said that such visits by the Kashmiri leadership should be continued. This delegation, consisting of all parties, is the best manifestation of national unity, and this should continue.
Other members of the delegation include Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan, former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Shah Ghulam Qadir, former Speaker and Chief of the Muslim League of Azad Kashmir, Abdul Rashid Turabi, former emir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir and former member of the Legislative Assembly, Abdul Majid Khan, Minister of Government, Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq, Minister Government, Chaudhry Basharat Hussain, Secretary Assembly, well-known Pakistani businessman Ayaz Ghani Yusuf Yilmaz, and diplomatic staff were also present in the meeting.
