Pakistan will continue extending its diplomatic, political and moral support to Kashmiris: Anwaarul Haq Kakar

ISLAMABAD, August 24 (SABAH): Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has said that Pakistan will continue extending its diplomatic, political and moral support to Kashmiris till the resolution of Kashmir issue as per United Nations resolutions and aspirations of the people through a plebiscite.

He was talking to Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwaarul Haq, who called on him in Islamabad. The Senior Most Minister of AJK Colonel (retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor was also present during the meeting.

Anwaarul Haq Kakar said Pakistan will continue standing by the people of Kashmir in their struggle for right to self-determination. He assured the AJK Prime Minister of Pakistan’s unconditional support for the cause of Kashmir.

The AJK Prime Minister, on the other hand, felicitated Anwaarul Haq Kakar for assuming office of the caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan and expressed best wishes for him.

Meanwhile Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar says the government will take all possible measures to solve the problems of Gilgit-Baltistan and development of the area.

He was talking to Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Gulbar Khan who called on him in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Chief Minister congratulated the Anwaarul Haq Kakar on becoming the caretaker Prime Minister and expressed his best wishes.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said Gilgit-Baltistan has a vast tourism potential which has not been fully exploited.

He said the government will take all possible measures to eradicate the backwardness of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan invited the Prime Minister to visit Gilgit-Baltistan and address the Legislative Assembly.

The Chief Minister also briefed the Prime Minister about the administrative issues and problems of Gilgit-Baltistan.
