Pakistan, UAE share long-standing bilateral ties in various areas including energy, refinery, petroleum & trade: Miftah Ismail


ISLAMABAD, August 02 (SABAH): Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates called on the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Dr. Miftah Ismail Ahmed at Finance Division on Tuesday.

Finance Minister Miftah Ismail shared that Pakistan and UAE share long-standing bilateral ties in various areas including energy, refinery, petroleum and trade. The Finance Minister also highlighted that present government is focusing on various other avenues of mutual interest so that the existing bilateral relations could be extending to a new level.

Miftah Ismail apprised the UAE’s Ambassador about the potential investment areas where UAE can invest and also assured the Ambassador of UAE of greater facilitation and support. The Ambassador of UAE also showed a keen interest in enhancing and strengthening the bilateral relation between both countries especially on economic fronts.

The Finance Minister shared welcoming sentiments for pursuing new investments in Pakistan and assured the UAE’s Ambassador of full support and cooperation by the present government.
