Pakistan stands by countering terrorism in accordance with int’l law & relevant UN resolutions: FO Spokesperson

ISLAMABAD, August 02 (SABAH): Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad has said that Pakistan stands by countering terrorism in accordance with international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.

Responding to media queries, the FO Spokesperson said that we have seen the official statements by the United States and media reports regarding a counter-terrorism operation carried out by the U.S. in Afghanistan.

He said Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Pakistan’s role and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism are well-known.
