Pakistan reports 41 deaths from coronavirus during last 24 hours
ISLAMABAD, Feb 13 (SABAH): Pakistan has reported 41 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,483,798. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 29,772 on Sunday. So far 1,375,628 patients have recovered in the country. So far 115,238,268 people have been partially vaccinated for coronavirus in country; meanwhile during the last 24 hours 1,330,298 people were vaccinated for coronavirus. So far 89,853,639 people have been fully vaccinated for coronavirus and 950,726 were vaccinated during the last 24 hours. So far 198,819,261 dozes of vaccine have been administered in whole country; meanwhile 198,819, 261 dozes of vaccine were administered in the country during the last 24 hours. So far 3,361,160 booster dozes of vaccine have been administered in the country. Meanwhile during the last 24 hours 88,332 dozes of booster vaccine have been administered in the country. The positivity rate of coronavirus reported cases has reached 5.79 percent on Sunday. According to NCOC, 40% of total population and 60% of eligible population stand vaccinated.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,206 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2 percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus has reached 92.7 percent. During the last 24 hours 4,935 coronavirus patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,623 critical coronavirus patients present in the country. There are 78,398 active coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Punjab province has become at first position in number of deaths from coronavirus pandemic; meanwhile Sindh province is on the second position. Meanwhile Sindh province has come on first position in terms of total reported cases of coronavirus, recovered coronavirus patients and active coronavirus cases in the country; meanwhile Punjab province at second position. On the other hand Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has come on third position in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 13,192 active coronavirus patients present in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are 45,299 active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 11,094 in Punjab, 6,618 active cases present in federal capital Islamabad, 273 in Balochistan, 1,469 in Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 453 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The percentage of deaths from coronavirus patients in Azad Jammu and Kashmir is 3 percent, in Islamabad 1 percent, Gilgit-Baltistan 2 percent, Balochistan 1 percent, in Punjab 3 percent, in Sindh 2 percent and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 3 percent.
Till now 13,355 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 7,978 in Sindh, 6,113 in KP, 998 in Islamabad, 768 in Azad Kashmir, 371 in Balochistan, and 189 in GB.
Furthermore 557,931 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 494,971 in Punjab, 209,758 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 133,037 in Islamabad, 35,056 in Balochistan, 41,862 in Azad Kashmir and 11,183 in Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan has so far conducted 25,751,321 coronavirus tests and 55,304 in the last 24 hours.
So far 504,654 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 470,522 coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 190,453 coronavirus patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 125,421 coronaviurs patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 34,412 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 39,625 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 10,541 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
