Pakistan Embassy in Turkmenistan arranges reception to celebrate the auspicious occasion of 85th National Day of Pakistan

ASHGABAT, March 24 (SABAH): To celebrate the auspicious occasion of 85th National Day of Pakistan in a befitting manner, Embassy of Pakistan, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan arranged national day reception at Pakistan House.

The event was attended by a large number of Turkmen government officials, prominent business leaders, Pakistani community members living in Turkmenistan, and Pakistan Embassy officials.

Ahsan Wagan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkmenistan, in his speech highlighted the sacrifices made by our founding fathers to achieve a separate homeland for Muslims of Subcontinent where millions of Muslims can live their life as per their beliefs and aspirations. He also talked about brotherly and friendly bilateral relations happily existing between the two countries. He informed the audience that Pakistan was one of the first two countries, which immediately recognized Turkmenistan and opened its Embassy at Ashgabat, the capital city of Turkmenistan.

In his speech, Ahsan Wagan also recognized the role played by the Pakistani diaspora in economic growth and development of Pakistan. He called upon Pakistani community members residing in Turkmenistan to further play its positive role in promoting bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

The reception served as a platform for meaningful exchanges and interactions among dignitaries, thus strengthening the ties between the two nations and fostering collaboration in various sectors. Distinguished guests engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral relations, exploring avenues for economic partnerships, and celebrating the rich cultural heritage shared between Pakistan and Turkmenistan. Distinguished guests were served the world famous Pakistani cuisine during the reception.
