Pakistan elected as Vice Chair of UNESCO Executive Board (term 2023-25) from Asia Pacific Group at the Executive Board Session

PARIS, Nov 24 (SABAH): Pakistan has been elected, with overwhelming support, as Vice Chair of UNESCO Executive Board (term 2023-25) from Asia Pacific Group at the Executive Board Session. During the meeting, Pakistan was represented by Pakistan’s Ambassador to France Asim Iftikhar Ahmed.

According to a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch on twitter on Friday, Pakistan is grateful to all members for their trust and support.

She said that Pakistan is deeply committed to cooperative multilateralism and looks forward to working together with all members to promote our common objectives and to defend shared values and UNESCO principles.
