Overseas Pakistanis are not only the backbone of country’s economy but also ambassadors of Pak’s positive image: Mian Muhammad Hanif
ISLAMABAD, April 12 (SABAH): The senior leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) France addressed an important press conference at the National Press Club Islamabad, highlighting the issues, rights, and role of overseas Pakistanis. PML-N France President Mian Muhammad Hanif, Chief Patron Talat Mehmood Chauhan, and Chief Coordinator Chaudhry Riaz Papa participated in the event.
It was announced during the press conference that an Overseas Pakistanis Conference will be held in Islamabad from April 13 to 15, in which overseas leaders and workers affiliated with PML-N from around the world will participate. This conference has been termed a historic opportunity for overseas Pakistanis, where their issues will be discussed in detail, and policy recommendations will be formulated.
Mian Muhammad Hanif stated that overseas Pakistanis are not only the backbone of the country’s economy but also ambassadors of Pakistan’s positive image. He assured that PML-N will continue to raise its voice on all forums to protect the rights of overseas Pakistanis.
Talat Mehmood Chauhan said that the current government, particularly Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, is taking serious steps to resolve the problems faced by overseas Pakistanis. He added that the conference from April 13 to 15 is a practical step in this regard.
Chaudhry Riaz Papa said that the vision of PML-N President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has always been of a developed, prosperous, and cohesive Pakistan, in which the role of overseas Pakistanis is of utmost importance.
At the conclusion of the press conference, the leaders pledged that PML-N will further strengthen its organization not only within the country but also abroad, and will address the issues of overseas Pakistanis on a priority basis.
They stated that, God willing, the leadership of PML-N will lead the nation out of the darkness of despair toward a bright, strong, and prosperous Pakistan.
