Only Jamaat-e-Islami could put country on path of development: Sirajul Haq
QUETTA, July 23 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has made it clear that only Jamaat-e-Islami could put the country on the path of development.
This was stated by Sirajul Haq while addressing the provincial election convention in Quetta on Sunday. On the occasion Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Secretary General Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch and other leaders were also present.
Sirajul Haq said that Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan is totally different political party as compared to other parties, adding that it is not like Pakistan Muslim League, Pakistan People’s Party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl or any other party.
He further said that political parties in Pakistan have badly met failure and their performance have been laid bare and added they have no plan of bringing any revolution in the country.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were given opportunity to deliver but they have badly failed in this regard. So much so, he noted heads of failed parties wanted that their daughters and sons become prime minister of the country.
Sirajul Haq further said they wanted that judges and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should issue verdicts according to their will and that the National Assembly ought to run according to their wish. He added the three parties were on the same page regarding the issue of taking loan from International Monetary Fund (IMF).
He said that the country and interest system could not go side by side and added that Jamaat-e-Islami was working for sorting out issues of Balochistan. He said first of all the residents of the province enjoy rights on its resources, adding people sitting on the heap of gold sleep hungry.
Sirajul Haq advised the people to express confidence in Jamaat-e-Islami and added God-willing there would be no need of taking loan from the World Bank and IMF. He deplored that slavery of IMF gave gifts of inflation, unemployment and corruption. He said that only Jamaat-e-Islami could put the country on the path of development.
Sirajul Haq said that no one came for the assistance of people of Balochistan during the floods last years and added if Allah Almighty gave an opportunity to Jamaat-e-Islami, they would end all the perks and privileges while using the national resources on people. “Balochistan has a bright future. There is a need of alternate leadership to the province. Youth should challenge the prevailing system, he added.
