On the reception of court orders by Tihar Jail authorities, Yasin Malik on their assurances broke his hunger strike: JKLF Spokesperson  


NEW DELHI/SRINAGAR, Nov 11 (SABAH): In view of a petition about lack of proper medical care, the Delhi high court on Friday, 8th November had promptly directed the jail authorities to submit Muhammad Yasin Malik’s medical reports on next hearing scheduled on Monday, 11 November. The court had further directed the jail authorities to provide him with medical facilities until his afresh reports are submitted in the court.

According to the party spokesman, Yasin Malik has gone very weak and expects the jail authority takes him to the mentioned hospital as soon as possible for afresh medical examinations. He said that his family and party members have expressed a sigh of relief after this news.

The JKLF spokesman thanked people in general and the party members in particular who raised their voice during this period and expressed their deep concern over the deteriorating health condition of Yasin Malik, the statement read.

The JKLF in solidarity with Yasin Malik at different places in AJK including Lahore and Karachi had organised many protests and sit-ins in during this period, the spokesman informed. He said that JKLF in UK and EU had also announced to stage sit-in protests outside Indian embassies in London and Brussels that stands cancelled now.
