On the demand of CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA), CDA Board approves enhancement in the number of employees going on Hajj from 50 to 60


ISLAMABAD, Nov 27 (SABAH): On the demand of CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA), the CDA Board has approved enhancement in the number of employees going on Hajj from fifty to sixty, a formal notification has been issued. According to the notification, instead of fifty, 54 men and 06 women will have the privilege of performing Hajj with their Mehrams every year. It should be noted that earlier, 48 employees and 02 women of the organization used to go for Hajj with their Mehrams.

On this occasion, General Secretary of CDA Mazdoor Union Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin thanked Chairman CDA Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Board Members and CDA administration for enhancing the Hajj quota and said that increasing the Hajj quota is a good initiative of Chairman CDA for which we pay tribute to Chairman CDA and hope that he will resolve the remaining issues of the employees on priority basis. In this regard, CDA Mazdoor Union assures full cooperation from its side. He said that history is a witness that the issues of the employees have always been resolved during the tenure of the CDA Mazdoor Union. The Hajj policy was closed during the tenure of professional leaders and Alhamdulillah, after winning as the first time as CBA in 2006, the Hajj policy was restored and five employees were sent to perform the Hajj and today, by the grace of Allah Almighty, sixty employees will have the privilege of performing Hajj. He said that CDA Mazdoor Union is a representative organization of the workers and the aim of the CDA Mazdoor Union is, welfare and well-being of the workers and their service without discrimination.

The CDA Mazdoor Union believes in bilateral negotiations and will continue the spirit of serving the workers in the same manner and all the problems of the workers will be resolved soon.
