On the call of Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem, thousands of people managed to enter Islamabad despite strict restrictions

ISLAMABAD, July 26 (SABAH): Thousands of people managed to enter Islamabad to participate in the sit-in despite strict restrictions on the call of Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman.

It is expected that emir Jamaat-e-Islami will lead the rally and reach the dharna place. In case of further restrictions, Hafiz Naeem has warned the government that such a move will not be correct and people will stage dharna everywhere.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the power of the people cannot be stopped by containers, we want to remain peaceful. Apart from this, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman while reacting to blocking the road by erecting obstacles said that caravans have left from all over the country with full enthusiasm for the sit-in. He said, “We are peaceful people and want to be peaceful, it is the responsibility of the government how they maintain peace.”

He said that he tells the participants of the sit-in to hold a sit-in wherever there is an obstacle, they will turn one sit-in into many sit-ins. Naeem-ur-Rehman further said that we want less electricity bills, we want to get rid of IPPs. Meanwhile, Central Information Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Qaisar Sharif has said that people from different districts have reached Islamabad in large numbers.
