On recent Eidul Azha, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan sacrificed over 7,000 animals: Muhammad Abdul Shakoor


LAHORE, July 19 (SABAH): President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Muhammad Abdul Shakoor has said that on recent Eidul Azha, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan sacrificed over 7,000 animals.

The meeting of the Alkidhmat Foundation’s Social Services Program Board was held at the Alkhidmat Complex in Lahore on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by Central President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Muhammad Abdul Shakoor, Senior Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Ahsan Ullah Waqas, National Director Social Welfare Program Amir Mahmood Cheema, General Manager Programs Hammad Butt and other office bearers.

During the meeting Amir Mahmood Cheema presented the report of Alkhidmat Qurbani Fi Sabeel Lillah 2022 project. He told that during the current year Qurbani Fi Sabeel Lillah was arranged in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Azad Kashmir, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Karachi along with for the Rohingya, Syrian, Palestinian and Afghan brothers and sisters. He said that on this Eidul Azha 4,933 cows and 2199 goats were sacrificed and overall 0.264 million people benefited from the project.

Amir Mahmood Cheema told that during the current year along with following the traditional way the animals were also sacrificed in latest slaughter houses, from where the meat was exported to far flung areas of the country on chiller trucks while packing the meat while following the hygienic principles.

On the occasion Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that it is the confidence of the philanthropists living in whole world on the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and efforts of the volunteers of Alkhidamt Foundation that this year record over 7,000 animals were sacrificed.

Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that Alkhidmat Foundation every year arranges Qurbani Fi Sabeel Lillah, due to this the people who hardly have two sufficient meals a day also eat meat of qurbani.
