Odd decisions breaching confidence of nation in judicial system: Sirajul Haq

ISLAMABAD, Oct 12 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that odd decisions were breaching confidence of nation in the judicial system and masses are curious about the ulterior motives behind policies of making zero to hero and hero to zero.

Sirajul Haq said this while addressing a gathering held at Qurtaba City, Islamabad, in connection with preparations of Minar-e-Pakistan Youth Convention. He said on one side Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were busy in war of power while on the other side over 220 million population was in search of peace and tranquility, and added every citizen of country was worried about the deteriorating law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Karachi but rulers are careless about it.

He said that federal and provincial governments have failed in providing security to the people and continued that dangerous increase in KKP in incidents of abduction for ransom, target-killing, street crime and extortion made lives of the people miserable.

Sirajul Haq appealed to the central and provincial governments to fulfill their Constitutional responsibility while safeguarding masses otherwise they enjoy no right to remain in power. He said politics based on lies, abuses and allegations were misleading the youth and added further they (youth) should quit believing in rulers’ false promises as they were real heirs of the country. It is undertaking of youth to wage a sacred war against this prevailing redundant system and they should be ready to bring an Islamic revolution in the country, he added.

Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Northern Punjab Dr. Tariq Saleem, Provincial Secretary General Iqbal Khan, President Jamaat-e-Islami Youth Zobair Ahmed Gondal and others from across the province were present in political gathering.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that European and secular lobbies were involved in destroying morals of 65 percent of youth while the rulers were working as their tools. He further said that unemployment and poverty were causing depression among the majority of the youth and added that intelligent and education youth was leaving the country in wake of current scenario of the country whereas there is no shortage of resources over here as leadership is the only root cause of all the issues.

He said, “Unproductive economic policies, slavery of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and riba system have destroyed everything. A powerful is not held accountable. There is a deteriorated judicial system. Unprivileged class cannot obtain justice even throughout their lives. Redundant system protects the rich while it doesn’t give permission to the poor of passing lives as per their will.  On one side there is two percent elite class while on the side millions of people were deprived of bread and butter. There was no continuity in rulers’ policies.  Rulers were careless of the people plight.”

While continuing PTI polices, Sirajul Haq said the PDM hiked Rs 90 per litre in petroleum products and contrary to international markets trends oil price was being enhanced.  Even though dollar devaluation occurred but still flour, sugar, petrol and edibles prices were out of reach of a common man, he deplored. “Only youth can transform this into a great country whereas rulers were hell-bent upon destroying it. Narcotics were being sold out in educational institutions,” he added.

Solution of all the problems lies with the system introduced by Holy Quran and Sunnah, Sirajul Haq said, and added this country came into being on the name of Islam hence enforcing Islam was only a grantee of its survival and prosperity. Different experiments were done in last 75 years but there was no visible betterment, he said, and added only Islamic System may bring prosperity. Majority of population was in favour of enforcing Islamic System in the country but oppressive forces and nuts and bolts want to keep the nation away from him, he concluded.
