Nuclear program is a symbol of strong defense of Pakistan: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE, May 28 (SABAH): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the nuclear program is a symbol of Pakistan’s strong defense. Youm-e-Takbeer is not a day of proud for only Pakistani nation but the whole Islamic world. She said Nawaz Sharif has not bowed down before anyone, adding she is proud of such a person.

In the message on the historic day of Takbeer, Maryam Nawaz said that she offer congratulations to the nation; greetings to every member of the team who carried out the mission of defending the country and greetings to Nawaz Sharif who made Pakistan the first nuclear power. She said that Youm-e-Takbeer is a day of pride not only for the Pakistani nation but for the world of Islam, adding the nuclear program is a symbol of Pakistan’s strong defense.

She said that the Pakistani nation still admits Nawaz Sharif’s courageous decisions. Maryam Nawaz said Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan a nuclear power for strong defense, now it is our mission to make it economically invincible. Maryam Nawaz also said that under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif they will now raise Pakistan in the nations of the world, adding today we have to reiterate the commitment of unity, hard work and tolerance.
