Now all the policies of Pakistan will be formed on the advice of International Monetary Fund: Ameerul Azim
LAHORE, Feb 13 (SABAH): Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and candidate for NA-135, Ameerul Azim has said that now all the policies of Pakistan will be formed on the advice of International Monetary Fund (IMF). He said that the interest based system has destroyed the economy of Pakistan, adding that interest based economic system, corruption and inflation should be ended. He said that petrol, gas and other edibles should be made cheaper, adding that the hoarders and adulteration mafia should be brought to justice while carrying out strict legislation. He said that now everything has gone intolerable, adding that the solution of all the problems lies in Islamic system of government, of which JI is only struggling.
This was stated by Ameerul Azim while addressing the workers convention at Nawab Town area of Lahore. JI candidate for PP-166 Abdul Qayyum Gujjar also addressed the participants of the convention.
Ameerul Azim said that instead of knowing that interest based system is like fighting war with Almighty Allah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), no ruler is making effort to abolish this system.
Ameerul Azim said that the conditions of the loan given by IMF now are very tough, adding that more burden will be put on the masses, which are already facing inflation. He said that the prices of petrol, gas, electricity and edibles will be further increased and the poor people will be deprived of two times meals. He said that the national assets are being privatized, adding that whole burden will be put on the masses. Ameerul Azim demanded that 50 percent cut should be made in the salaries of the ministers, advisors, members of the national and provincial assemblies, judges, generals and bureaucracy and perks and privileges should be completely stopped.
