Non-serious, irresponsible political attitudes are alarm bells for the democratic & parliamentary process: Liaqat Baloch


LAHORE, July 13 (SABAH): Liaqat Baloch, Deputy Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and President Political Affairs Committee has said that non-serious, irresponsible political attitudes are alarm bells for the democratic and parliamentary process. He said that the common agenda of PDM, PPP and PTI is to give sorrows, worries and deprivation to the common man. He said that lust for power and luring the establishment towards themselves through pressuring it is their target and slogans of give respect to vote and to get rid from the American slavery are only fraud.

This was stated by Liaqat Baloch while addressing the workers conventions and corner meetings in connection with the PP-158 and PP-167 bye-elections. He said that the poison of bitterness and violence has been mixed in the politics, government, economy and society.

Liaqat Baloch said that the bye-elections are the golden opportunity with the masses to reject the tested and political wanderers responsible for Pakistan’s destruction through the power of vote and should support Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan. He said that the voters should fix stamp on the election symbol “Scale” and it will give a lot of courage to those who love country and religion, adding that JI will bring the country out of crises. He said that the performance of the imposed rulers on the whole country from last many years has been exposed by the recent rains. He said that the ruling elite is responsible for the destruction of the whole system.

Liaqat Baloch said that common agenda of PDM, PPP and PTI is to make Pakistan the center of secular, liberal, non-religious and west-like free society. He said that all three big political parties are struggling for the achievements of the goals of making compromise on Kashmir issue, restoration of trade and cultural relations with India and recognizing Israeli. He said that making constitution, democratic and parliamentary norms and Islamic laws useless and to continue imposing the menace of interest based system, loans and corruption, Imran Khan, Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are on the same page, adding that the difference is only of securing power. He said that if these leaderships are sincere then they should hold national dialogue on national priorities of electoral reforms, getting rid of the IMF and to get rid of every suppressor force.
