No other party has such sincere workers as Jamaat-e-Islami: Syed Shahid Hashmi

KARACHI, Oct 20 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi District East Syed Shahid Hashmi has said that no other party in the country has sincere workers like Jamaat-e-Islami. These workers are the valuable asset of the party.

Syed Shahid Hashmi expressed these views while addressing the gathering of members of Jamaat-e-Islami District East in Bilal Masjid Abul Hasan Isfahani Road.

He said that millions of people in the world believe in Maulana Abul A’la Maududi’s concept of religion, adding there is no interpretation of religion beyond Maulana Maududi’s interpretation of religion. Today, Islamic movements around the world have adopted Maulana Abul A’la Maududi’s concept of religion, he said and added this is the reason that the powers of disbelief understand if Maulana Abul A’la Maududi’s concept of Islam is implemented, their power will be in danger.

Syed Shahid Hashmi said that apart from being an organization and a movement, Jamaat-e-Islami is also a way of life, adding the Islamic way of life introduced by Jamaat-e-Islami cannot be ignored. He said that the Muslims gave complete freedom of worship to the followers of other religions during their rule. But it was and is determined that the state, politics, government, judiciary and economic system will be according to the law of Allah Almighty, he added.
