LAHORE, Feb 05 (SABAH): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that no matter what our political differences, today we come together to extend our unwavering support to Kashmiris. He said that disputes of Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir are two big challenges for United Nations, UN Security Council and international community. He said that till the resolution of the longstanding disputes the basic purposes of the establishment of United Nations could not be fulfilled. He said that the United Nations should have to ensure the just resolution of the Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir disputes for restoration of its credibility.

In a statement issued on twitter on Saturday, Shehbaz Sharif paid rich tribute to the Kashmiri martyrs and great struggle of Kashmiris on Kashmir Solidarity Day. He said that the dream of durable peace and development in South Asia can not be fulfilled without the just resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

Shehbaz Sharif said that their struggle for freedom in face of a brutal Hindutva-inspired regime remains legendary. He said that the history tells us that people with conviction always defeat their oppressors.
