No country would be allowed to facilitate use of its soil against Pakistan: Ahsan Iqbal
NAROWAL, March 16 (SABAH): Minister for Planning, Development and special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry visited the residence of martyred Frontier Corps personnel Akmal Hussain in Pahlwari village, Shakargarh, district Narowal on Sunday.
The Minister commiserated with the bereaved family and offered Fateha for the departed soul.
Talking to news persons on this occasion, Ahsan Iqbal said that the entire nation stands united in fight against terrorism. He strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Jaffer Express, calling it a brutal act. He said that the terrorists committed a heinous act in Balochistan, adding that in the presence of the brave soldiers no one could cast an evil eye on the country. He said that Jaffar Express incident is worst act of terrorism, adding that our enemies are trying to stop the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and mineral development of Balochistan.
Ahsan Iqbal reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring peace and security in the country and no country would be allowed to facilitate use of its soil against Pakistan.
Highlighting the government’s economic achievements, Ahsan Iqbal said that economic indicators are showing positive trends due to prudent policies.
He said that the International Monetary Fund has also expressed satisfaction on economic policies of Pakistan. Ahsan Iqbal said that we have to become the strength of each other to face the challenges, adding that currently country needs grand economic alliance. He said that Pakistan became bankrupt during the four years tenure of Imran khan and Pakistan became the laughing stock in front of the world.
