Nero playing flute, as monster of terrorism reached Islamabad: Fawad
ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (SABAH): Reacting over the terrorist attack in the federal capital, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President and former minister for information and broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary said that Nero was playing flute, as monster of terrorism once again reached Islamabad.
Fawad Chaudhry, in a statement on Friday, said that the suicide attack in the federal capital should be enough to open our closed eyes. He stated that the rulers were imposed on the nation through the power of guns and they had nothing to do with the people, as this gang of thieves was mere busy in ending their corruption cases.
Fawad Chaudhry stressed the need: “If we want to save Pakistan from a major disaster, we will have to get rid of the current rulers and have to surrender before the people’s decisions.”
He went on to say that a cabinet with 60% of its ministers facing criminal cases was only focused on closing their corruption cases and foreign tours. Therefore, Fawad stated that it was in the interest of the country to get rid of them.
Talking about governor Punjab’s notification, Fawad Chaudhry said that the power to make and remove the chief minister was with the elected representatives of the people. He stated that the governor and the chief secretary violated the privileges of the members of the assembly.
He maintained, “The Punjab Assembly should summon the Governor and the Chief Secretary and punish both of them for this unconstitutional action according to the rules so that no one dares to do such things in the future.”
