Nawaz Sharif will come back in Pakistan soon & again will change the fate of country: PM Shehbaz
KASUR, August 06 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid and former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will come back in Pakistan soon and again will change the fate of the country. He said that if Almighty Allah will make Nawaz Sharif prime minister again with the votes of people, we will make all out efforts for making Pakistan great. He said that if PML-N will come in power after next elections we will change the fate of Pakistan. Shehbaz Sharif said that he is going to dissolve National Assembly on 9th August, adding that later on the interim government will be installed and elections will be held.
While addressing a mammoth public gathering after performing ground breaking of three development projects including Lahore- Sahiwal- Bhawalnagar motorway, Rai Mansab Ali Khan interchange on Lahore-Abdul Hakim Motorway and Taregarh interchange in Khudian Khas, district Kasur on Sunday, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that today train accident has occurred in which 30 people have died and over 100 have been injured. PM Shehbaz Sharif prayed for higher status in heaven for those who died in the train accident and prayer for the early recovery of the injured persons. He also prayed for higher status in heaven for 15 persons killed in boat capsizing incident in Head Salmanki.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that he wanted to convey greetings of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, adding that the mammoth gathering is the sign that with the blessings of Almighty Allah, Nawaz Sharif will be the next prime minister and he will serve the country. PM Shehbaz Sharif said that he laid foundation projects of Rs 263 billion, adding that the motorway project will bring revolution in the area.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif laid the net of motorways, roads and bridges, adding that in 2008, 20 hours long electricity load shedding was observed ; however when Almighty Allah gave chance to Nawaz Sharif, he ended load shedding in five years from 2013 to 2018. He said that Nawaz Sharif brought China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project from China and brought $30 billion investment. He said that laptops costing billions of rupees were distributed among the youth. He said that Nawaz Sharif laid the foundation of Diamir-Bhasha and Dasu Dams. He said that Nawaz Sharif make Pakistan nuclear power while carrying out six nuclear tests in response to five Indian nuclear tests. He said that nuclear program was started by former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto but it was completed by Nawaz Sharif, adding that US President Bill Clinton had offered $5 billon for not carrying out the nuclear tests. He said that $5 billon of that era are $15 billion of today, adding that Nawaz Sharif refused taking $5 billion from Bill Clinton and said I will not harm the dignity of Pakistan for even a second and I have no worth of even $50 billion.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif eliminated terrorism from country but previous government in 2021 invited them to come back in Pakistan. He said Pakistan was enjoying good relations with Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Iran, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other counties during the tenure of Nawaz Sharif, adding that later on the government installed in result of farce elections, destroyed the diplomatic relations of Pakistan mercilessly. He said that previous government of Imran Niazi destroyed Pakistan’s relations with China, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Iran and other countries.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif served the 220 million people of Pakistan while considering his own family, adding that who forced Nawaz Sharif to sit abroad, adding that the conspirator group of former chief justice Mian Saqib Nisar sentenced Nawaz Sharif in iqama instead of Panama. He said that there were names of 400 people in Panama but Supreme Court of Pakistan and Saqin Nisar did not summon anyone of them, adding that a supervisory judge was appointed. He said that Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif faced over 100 hearing in the accountability court but did not wear cover on his head and did not pretended illness and terrorism and did not hide at home. He said that Nawaz Sharif said that the history will remember him for his services and no one can snatch services from him.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that Khana Kaaba model watch was not stolen by Nawaz Sharif, the Khana Kaaba model watch was not sold by Nawaz Sharif in Dubai, fake receipt was not presented by Nawaz Sharif. He said that wheat and sugar scandals were reported during the tenure of Imran Niazi, adding that first wheat and sugar were exported then again imported and wasted billions of dollars of Pakistan, adding that some people filled their pockets but nothing happened and no one questioned about it.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that his government faced challenges and difficulties in last 16 months. He said that wheat production was record in last 10 years and this year the cotton production will also be record as compared to last many years. He said that Imran Khan stuck agreement with IMF but violated it later on. He said that we received government in difficult economic circumstances and save the country from default and made agreement with IMF successfully. He said that PTI policies are the main reasons for inflation in the country.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that Saudi people are like our brothers and they provided $2 billion to Pakistan.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif laid foundation stone of Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute University in Lahore on Sunday. On this occasion, the Prime Minister also launched a campaign to create awareness among the people about Hepatitis disease. Pakistan Institute of Kidney and Liver was made operational in 2018.
Addressing the ceremony, the Prime Minister said this institute was a gigantic project of PML N government to serve the people of country.
He said that 80 per cent patients in PKLI are provided with free or partially free treatment and doctors and staff in the institute are rendering the best services.
The Prime Minister said that PKLI treated patients without any discrimination.
Shehbaz Sharif said that 15 billion rupees have been collected by the Trust fund of PKLI and we have requested the philanthropists to donate more funds in order to facilitate deserving patients.
The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts for creating awareness about causes of Hepatitis in Pakistan and suggestions to address issues.
He also welcomed foreign experts participating in conference on Hepatitis for sharing their experience and research results to control the disease.
