Nawaz Sharif was ousted from the power through a conspiracy: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD, July 05 (SABAH):  Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has expressed the commitment to stabilize the economy and address the issue of inflation.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, Marriyum Aurangzeb said the people are fully aware of the fact that the PML-N always delivers on the economic front. She said an economic revival plan has been rolled out which envisages the development of various sectors including agriculture, IT and Industries. She said this plan will bring both domestic and foreign investment, produce employment opportunities and also help address the issue of inflation. 

Alluding to the recent statement of PTI leader Hamid Khan Advocate on the television, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was ousted from the power through a conspiracy. She said the judiciary will have to undo this wrong. She said that senior PTI leader is saying that what happened with Nawaz Sharif was an excess, adding that the decision of Panama was converted into Iqama had already been decided prior to announcement of the judgment of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. She said that the judiciary was used as a tool to disqualify Nawaz Sharif, why because he was serving the country. She said that Justice (retd) Asif Saeed Khan Khosa himself is looking Sicilian mafia and godfather, adding that Justice (retd) Asif Saeed Khosa was hatching conspiracy against the country. She said that Justice Ijazul Ahsan is the sitting judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, adding that he has to respond the statement of Hamid Khan. She said that Justice Ijazul Ahsan was the head of the monitoring committee in Panama case.

Marriyum Aurangzeb highlighted the successes achieved by the country on various fronts in the tenure of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. She recalled that while one person at that point in time was standing on the container, Nawaz Sharif was busy in serving and uplifting the country.

She regretted that the person who was imposed on this country through a conspiracy destroyed the economy and incited intolerance and hatred in the society. The Information Minister said those who conspired against the country shall be given strict punishment.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Imran Khan’s government had signed tough conditions in IMF program and handed over the country to IMF, adding that later on the program was suspended and violated and credibility of the country was destroyed, foreign police and economy of the country were destroyed and brought back load shedding and terrorism in the country. She said that this person was made hero.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the Pakistani people have elected Nawaz Sharif as prime minister for three times because the Pakistani masses think that if anyone could bring the country out of crises his name is Nawaz Sharif.  

Responding to a question, the Information Minister said the government does not believe in political victimization. She however, said that the PTI Chairman will have to respond to the allegations against him, if not today then surely he has to respond tomorrow.
