Nawaz Sharif, Maulana Fazl demonstrate commitment to addressing national issues through mutual agreement & cooperation

LAHORE, Nov 13 (SABAH): In a significant development, former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman held telephonic conversation on Monday.

JUI-F’s spokesperson said that the conversation primarily revolved around inquiries about Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s well-being, with Nawaz Sharif expressing genuine concern for the JUI chief’s health.

He added that both leaders demonstrated a commitment to addressing national issues through mutual agreement and cooperation.

“The leaders are determined to solve national problems by mutual agreement,” stated the spokesperson.

During the conversation, Nawaz Sharif conveyed his desire for an early one-on-one meeting, emphasising the importance of direct dialogue to address the pressing issues facing the nation.

The spokesperson further elaborated on the leaders’ dedication to finding common ground and working towards collective solutions.
