Nawaz Sharif himself will make decision regarding his return: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi   


ISLAMABAD, Dec 26 (SABAH): Former prime minister and Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that PML-N Quaid and former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif himself will make decision regarding his return, adding that when Nawaz Sharif will think the country needs him today he will return back while leaving his treatment in the middle. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that whether the country needs Nawaz Shairf currently this decision should be left on Nawaz Sharif to make. He said that the people want general elections as the solution of the problems of people facing lies in holding fresh general elections, adding that we are political people and will contest whichever elections are held in country will not boycott them.

This was stated by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in an interview with a private TV channel. He said that the 18th Constitutional Amendment has nothing to do with the distribution of the money of the country, adding that the money is distributed under National Finance Commission Award to the provinces. Abbasi said that it is his personal point of view that 30 administrative provinces should be established in the country for the resolution of the problems facing by people. He said that nine provinces should be established in Punjab and seven each should be established in three other provinces. He said that Turkey has formed new provinces, India has established 18 new provinces, adding that Punjab is always looked suspiciously that it will occupy the rights of other provinces or Punjab has always occupation on federation and this thing will also eliminate.

Abbasi said that current local government system could not work, adding that today government and opposition both did not want local government elections and these are being held on the orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan. He said that everyone is looking towards general elections, adding that the next general elections will be held during the mid of March 2022 to mid of October 2023, adding that if the government will complete its term on 17th August 2023 then the elections will be held prior to 17th October 2023. He said that the government which will come tomorrow will abolish the current LG system as political parties have no consensus on this LG system.
