National political leadership should apologize to nation for its mistakes: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, Jan 11 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and candidate for NA-123 and NA-128 constituencies, Liaqat Baloch has said that national political leadership should apologize to nation for its mistakes.

Liaqat Baloch expressed these views during 17 programs, corner meetings and grand mosques in his constituency NA-123. He said they welcome approval of nomination papers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidates and election symbol from Peshawar High Court. He stressed upon the parties which are taking part in elections should hold dialogue for durable democracy, impartial elections and supremacy of the Constitution and law.

Liaqat Baloch said impartial elections and restoration of voters’ confidence will bring political stability in the country and added if elections are held on the lines of poisonous polarization during 2013 and 2018 elections then a number of crisis including political and social are waiting for the country and the nation.

He further said that the Supreme Court has protected Constitution, democracy and judiciary itself while sustaining General Pervez Musharraf’s death sentence under Article 6 for suspending the Constitution. He said this would stop such adventure in the days to come. Army dictatorships deserve punishment for suspending the Constitution. He said that national political leadership should apologize to nation for its mistakes and play a vibrant role for stable democracy.

While addressing ulema conventions at Paragon City, Muslim Town, Banghali Barki Road, Liaqat Baloch said that religious scholars should play their role in telling the nation the reasonable use of vote for protecting the future of the nation. He said the religious scholars can play an unparalleled role for implementation of the system introduced by the Holy Prophet (SAWW). He also stressed upon them to be vocal for freeing Jerusalem, assistance of victims of Gaza and against the US cruelties.
