NA Standing Committee on Energy (Petroleum Division) examines entire performance of the ministry

ISLAMABAD, July 18 (SABAH): The 2nd meeting of the Standing Committee on Energy (Petroleum Division) was convened on Thursday at Committee Room No. 7 (4th Floor), Parliament House, Islamabad.

The meeting was chaired by Syed Mustafa Mehmood, MNA, and was also attended by the Federal Minister for the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) along with members of the Standing Committee.

The Secretary, Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), provided a comprehensive overview of the functions of the Ministry and its attached departments. The entire performance of the ministry was examined during this introductory discussion, with an emphasis on the main problems and possible solutions. The Ministry highlighted several ongoing and new initiatives by the Petroleum Division aimed at improving services to people across the country.

The meeting was attended by Syed Naveed Qamar, Muhammad Nawaz Khan, Shahid Ahmed, Anwar-ul-Haq Chaudhary, Rai Haider Ali Khan, Dr. Shezra Mansab Ali Khan Kharal, Gul Asghar Khan, Salahuddin Junejo, Muhammad Moin Aamer Pirzada, Asad Alam Niazi, Mian Khan Bugti, and senior officers from the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) and its attached departments and organizations.
