Mushaal Mullick emphasize World to took notice of Human Rights violations in IIOJK


ISLAMABAD, August 05 (SABAH): Former Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Human Rights and Women empowerment Mushaal Hussein Mullick has emphasized on International community to took notice of Human Rights violations committing by BJP government in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) since August 05, 2019.

   Mushaal Mullick, a Chairperson Peace and Cultural Organisation and wife of incarcerated senior Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik inaugurated a Kashmiri Atrocities Photo Exhibition and addressed the participants of a protest walk, held in connection with the Yaum-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir at Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi, marking the fifth anniversary of the revocation of Articles 370 and 35 A by India in 2019 to revoke the special status of disputed Kashmir territory, said the human rights violations including killings, extrajudicial executions in IIOJK surged since India’s BJP government illegally repealed special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 05, 2019. 

Indian troops have martyred 907 Kashmiris including 17 women and thirty young boys during the last five years besides she disclosed that 223 Kashmiris also killed in fake encounters and the custody of Indian police.

Mushaal Mullick also said that Indian government is now allowing people from the rest of India to acquire property in IIoJK and settle there permanently. Sabien Hussein Mullick Secretary General Peace and Culture Organisation and Professor Zafar, Advisor on Kashmir Affairs also participated in the exhibition and protest.

Former SAPM said that India’s actions in occupied Kashmir since August 5, 2019, demonstrated a complete disregard for international laws and the aspirations of Kashmiris.

She demanded that the people of Kashmir should be given their democratic right to self-determination as enshrined in the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
