Musawemeen urges Federal Minister for Education to raise voice for Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

ISLAMABAD, Nov 07 (SABAH): An NGO Musawemeen has written letter to Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood to raise voice for repatriation of Dr. Afia Siddiqui detained in US prison. 

Musawemeen has said in letter addressing to Shafqat Mahmood,  that we are sure that you know quite well that Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was a great educationist and had great plans for the education system of Pakistan. In fact, the very day that she was abducted on her way from Karachi to Islamabad, she had a meeting scheduled with the then Chairman Senate, Mian Muhammad Soomro, regarding the revolutionary educational system that she had designed for the children of Pakistan. As educationists, we are always concerned about the possible brain-drain of Pakistan. Isn’t Dr. Aafia Siddiqu the greatest brain-drain that has occurred in Pakistan ? Shouldn’t the Ministry of Education raise voice for the repatriation of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui to Pakistan?

Aafia Siddiqu’s case is close to being history now. Classified documents have been declarified. Prisoners have been released. Forces have been called back. The war of terror has failed with the ending note of America’s failure in Afghanistan. All this would have been good news for us, only if daughter of the nation would have been returned to Pakistan too. If Amenca, despite all its technology and power has faded in Afghanistan, so has Pakistan despite its strategic importance and Faith! 

We believe that PM Imran Khan is destined for great works in this world but the unforgiveable error of not bringing back Aafia Siddique is casting a shadow of misfortune on all of his noble plans. 

He said in 2019 that year 2020 would be the Year of Economy, but it turned out to be the Year of Lockdown. And the irony is, that the lockdown is not getting over. It is persistent and is reappearing in the form of Corona variants and now dengue. Why ? It is simple Mathematics. We have left Aafia Siddiqui in her lockdown so Allah Almighty has putus in a lockdown too. Tit for tat !

A very dangerous perception is brewing among the public now. The eene sidence of the government over Aafia Siddiqui seems to indicate that it is not America which does not want to return Aafia Siddiqui but it is Pakistan which does not want to take back Aafia Siddiqul Is that true ? True or not, it is very shameful for the sitting government, the defence forces, the people of Pakistan and the Muslim nation to be guilty of not freeing Aafia Siddiqui from the hell of America and Zionist lobby. All of us are suffering the brunt of it in the form of the pandemic lockdown and will have Hell to answer in the Hereafter. It is also being said that PM Imran Khan would have freed Aafia Siddique but he is being forced not to by hidden forces. If that is true, well then that is very sad. For a spintual person like khan should remember that victory and defeat comes from Allah Almighty and only He can make you win the next elections, Insha Allah.
