Murtaza Solangi stresses on all political parties to extend cooperation for holding free, fair & transparent elections in the country
ISLAMABAD, Sep 08 (SABAH): Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has said that consultations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are underway for provision of relief to the people in electricity bills.
In a TV interview, Murtaza Solangi said the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar directed the relevant stakeholders to hold consultations with the IMF and situation in this regard will be cleared in a few days.
He said energy-conservation measures are under consideration to address energy crisis. He stressed on all political parties to extend cooperation for holding free, fair and transparent elections in the country.
The Information Minister said the caretaker government has limited mandate and we have taken an oath to protect the constitution.
